My sincere condolences to Carl’s family and friends. I first met Carl when I was on a student placement in 73/74. HRC employees were more than co-workers. They became friends and sometimes even family. Memories will keep him with you always.

Carl was a gentle, go with the flow type of guy with a touch of class. I had the privilege of playing ball for a few years on the same team, he was a very, supportive, encouraging and reliable teammate, so many fond memories and he will be missed immensely by all.

Very sorry to hear of Carl’s sudden passing. He was an awesome standup guy and athlete. I had the pleasure of playing ball with Carl on the Elmvale Merchants 1977 All Ontario Championship Team. Great memories. Our condolences to his family and friends. RIP.

My heart goes out to all of the Edwards family and his lovely wife Mary Ann. Carl was a true friend in every sense of the word. Carl was never arrogant or belittling to anyone and was so easy going.
One thing I’ll never forger is his jovial laugh that was true Carl.
I knew and worked for Carl at HRC and we remained friends from that point on.
To everyone that Carl touched, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
We truly have lost one of the great people in our lives.
