Pat and family. Deepest condolences from Sandy and me and the girls. Life just isn't going to be the same without Bob. He was always ready to help - the day he took me to town to buy a generator for my old truck and then installed it for me is but one example of Bob's spirit and friendship. He was happiest with a wrench in one hand and a disassembled part in the other ... and he always could figure out how to get the parts back together. So many things that we will miss so much. I've attached a pic of your "best" friend. Hemi was one of the many joys that Bob embraced in his life.
A sad day. Happy memories.

Our sincere condolences to the Durrant family in their time of loss and sorrow. Although Bob had significant health problems, one would never know, due to his ongoing enthusiasm and love for life. A life he lived to the fullest each and every day. A lifetime of cherished memories and milestones his family & friends will continue to treasure and reflect on throughout the years. Without a doubt, memorializing Bob's life and successes will forever instill and sustain love and tranquility within the family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you during this most difficult time. Sincerely Ann, Al & Rebecca Begg (Hester).

Rob was well-respected in the numismatic community. He was truly a dynamic and visionary leader of the Champlain Coin Club. He was very much looking forward to celebrating the Club’s 60th Anniversary next year (2022), and he liked that a new medal was being issued to commemorate the event. While I was on the editorial team of the ONA, Rob and I communicated about the hobby and the Club. He was always generous in providing news, ideas and photos. He will be missed! A donation has been made in honour of his memory, towards the protection of the Trumpeter Swans that he enjoyed so much.
