I am so.sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. I have known him since the 70’ and what you could be sure of was his passion for playing music, making guitars and a love of cars and racing boats, He was a fantastic musician and gave his heart to playing. We would cross paths once and a while and he always had a new adventure, he did amazing 3d virtual art. Sending heartfelt condolences to the family, I am so sorry for your loss.
My sincere condolences to the Smith family. Doug, you were a very talented musician and Mom was your number 1 fan. I remember you getting so excited when showing us guitars you had made and you beamed when you spoke about music you had written and produced. Years ago you used to come visit my father and you and he would talk about electronics for hours. You will be missed by the VanBarneveld and Stafford families.
My deepest sympathy to the Smith family. I have known Doug for probably 50 years and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. RIP Doug. You will be missed by.many.
RIP Doug… I remember well that evening you had set up a practice session in Park Royal and we used my black lite to really make your 60’s posters shine !!!
Our deepest sympathies to the Smith family. I have known Doug since the 1970’s and played guitar with him many times over the decades. Doug was always a cheerful lad and loved to laugh. He was an excellent musician and will be missed.
RIP Douglas.
