I just found out about Bob's passing. He was a wonderful, warm, funny and compassionate man. He was my late father's best friend and I will miss them both very much. RIP Bob.

Bob was a tremendously talented person who had a wonderful sense of humour . Having grown up with his sister Shellie , and knowing his parents Harley and Ruth, he was the "big brother" whom Shellie adored as a young girl. He and Bev were a great couple who were fortunate enough to have had two beautiful children both of whom were cherished by their parents. If there is a life beyond this one I know Bob will be watching over his family and hopefully laughing at all the good times that he enjoyed with family and friends.
My sincere condolences to Bev, Morghan and her partner, Drew and his family, Shellie, Fred, Rachel and her partner .
Love to all, Kieron

My sincere condolences to all of Bob's family. I am truly saddened at the news of his passing.
We first met 50 years ago in the early 70's at Cinera Productions. He was fresh out of OCAD and a whirlwind of humour, energy and creativity. He designed and produced an award wining 30 second animated spot for Eaton's within months of starting at the studio. I recall where he invited all of us animation guys from the studio, to the family cottage on the St Lawrence for a fishing weekend. Great fun. I will always remember him as a wonderful, inspiring and positive human being.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I haven't seen him in decades but will always appreciate him as the graphic artist who created the brilliant designs for my first venture in 1972, The Original 99-Cent Roxy repertory cinema in Toronto. My best wishes to his family and friends.

I am beyond saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He is a big part of so many of my fondest memories, too many to count, from working together at Nelvana/NAC, to setting up, establishing and building The Animation House during our first six years, to happily reconnecting and having lunch in Orillia just before the pandemic, keeping in touch to the time his illness worsened. He was in short, one of my favourite people. Throughout the years I marvelled at his creative genius, shared laughter with and enjoyed his wonderful sense of humour, and cherished our friendship. Sending my deepest condolences to Bev, Morghan and Drew and to all of his many colleagues, close friends and family. RIP Bob, you will be deeply missed, by myself and so many others.

My sincere condolences to all of Bob's family. I knew Bob when I was a student at OCA during the same years that he was there and counted him as a friend there. What a great career he had doing what he loved. May he rest in peace!
