So sorry to hear of George's passing I knew him way back in the 50s when i worked for north york twp.
and he worked for millers , he could also sing a good song as he did many times at my jam
at the army & navy Club. I will miss him every day seeing him at Mc Donald's

My deepest sympathy to the family, sorry i didn't make it to the visitation.
Always loved running into George around town & having a little chat. So many great memories from years ago, neighbors getting together having a bonfire George on his guitar & the kids banging on the pots & pans. He will be missed.

Pete & I are very saddened to hear of your dads passing. When we went to Couch Park he would always be there making his rounds with the regulars. We always talked and the conversation was never dull and always ending in him telling us a joke or vice versa. He will surely be missed by many

I worked with George at Twin Lakes Sec. School and have had many visits with him in the stores in Orillia since. We shared many laughs and great visits. My condolences to the family at this sad time.

Very sorry to hear about George. He really enjoyed putting a smile on other people's faces, whether it be with a story or a song. I'll always remember him singing the Johnny Cash song " My Name is Sue".
