It saddens me not to able to attend the celebration of life for Chris and the family today. My heart goes out to all the family in this very difficult time. The loss of a loved one is always difficult regardless of age but hits hard when it someone as young as Chris. Please know that I am thinking of everyone dealing with this extremely tragic event. God rest your soul and may you find peace.

I echo everything Julia said. She expressed my thoughts exactly. Chris was way more than a customer, he was a friend. He made our day better every time we saw him and he gave great hugs. He always made time for us to share about the kids or trapping. He never ran out of patience when we grilled him with loads of questions out of concern or interest. One time we were having such a great chat ,a customer didn't want to interrupt us as she thought I was talking to my husband lol. Albeit way way younger. We laughed and laughed about that. I told him I loved him on a regular basis and am glad I did. I cannot express how much he meant to us and how greatly he'll be missed.

I was so saddened and shocked to hear about Chris. I have no words to express how truly sorry I am Scott and Cathy and Owen. I only knew Chris as a customer, but I feel like I really knew him. How proud he was of Owen, how he dealt with all the health problems in the beginning of Owen's life, and how much he loved and cared for him and for Leighton too. Then we had so many conversations about trapping, and beavers, and so many other wildlife stories, what his assignment for the day was. He pretty much always had a smile on his face, and a great laugh. Of course we had to make fun of Scott a bit too. I think his biggest passion was his family though, I have seen lots of photos, and also of the dogs. I will miss seeing him come in. My thoughts are with you, if there is anything I can do, let me know.

From David, Lisa, Amanda, J, and X, our deepest condolences. How this incredible man cared for and looked after his Nan for so many years, with unconditional love and devotion, will never be forgotten. No one else could have done what he did. I have many great memories of Christopher as I am in his family from a little boy to growing up , I watched him grow we had so many great time together!
