Martin Jeandron

Obituary of Martin Peter Jeandron

Jeandron, Martin Peter On Sunday June 23rd, 2024, Martin Peter Jeandron, in his 79th year, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side. The family is grateful for the love and care his partner and wife, Irene of 53 years gave. Martin was born in Brantford, Ontario and will be remembered by his siblings Wes (Alison, late Joanne), Sharon (Bernie), Norman (Cora), Gord (late Loretta), Ken (Bonnie), Brian (Liz), Pam (Gord), Theresa, Adam, and Heide (Gina). Martin was a proud father of daughters, Ginette (John), Michelle (Paul) and proud grandparent to six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Marty was a bit of a mechanical trouble-shooting genius in the heating and air conditioning industry. He was proud to be sent abroad to work occasionally as far as the Northwest Territories, the US, and Hong Kong. When he wasn’t working his passions evolved from dune buggies, snowmobiles, golf, hunting and fishing to arrive at his second biggest love of his life - boating. His boats only got bigger and bigger as the years rolled on by! Marty will be remembered using colourful language if crossed and would always be remorseful when caught and reprimanded by Irene. He was the man you wanted in your corner because he would do anything to help. Marty softened with age, and with that thought his family would like to wish him ‘fair winds and following seas’. Reunited with his mum, may you RIP Marty. There will be no service at Martin’s request. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East Orillia (705) 327 0221.
