Obituary of Jacqueline Byers

Byers, Jacqueline Leigh "Jacqui" Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous 25 year battle with cancer at the Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 at the age of 65. Beloved wife of Dick Byers. Loving mother of Kathryn Walker (Jason), Stephen (Jennifer Steede), and Kimberly Crackower (Aaron). Proud nana of Olivia, Mitchell, Sawyer, Brooke, Cadence, Mikayla, Dylan, and Ashlee. Jacqui will always be remembered for her tireless dedication and leadership in her community. She touched many lives as an educator and was passionate about helping others. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street E. Orillia, on Monday, September 23rd 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memories and Tributes will be shared at 3:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donation may be made to the Hospice Simcoe or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
